India of course, because of the growing middle class and the sheer size of it + a pro business government and stability.

Sri Lanka because of the new pro India government and US support, and stability because they're done with the LTTE war

Bangla have a huge population but all those years of being 'Pakistanis' while their western masters starved them to build a big military is still costing them, they have textile and agri but is it enough to invite major investment ?

Maldives have tourism and fishing, amazing heaven on earth place but over too small to compare to the rest of SA countries.

Pakistan has great potential, they've built up a huge army and have nukes to boast so they can do it too but the security situation will keep investors at bay.. put that military machine to use and clean house, people.

Hindu nation of Nepal can piggyback with India

Bhutan is of not care about economy anyway lol, that place should stay the way it is.. hands off, India and China.. Bhutan can be peaceful kingdom where the royals drive Italian supercars but there is no oppression of the people and full peace and nature and all things good.. leave Bhutan alone !

Well we all know India is certainly gonna remain the economic power house of the region & India is certainly gonna make the biggest economic impact. But that's not my question it's about the economic progress irrespective of size of Economy. Taiwan with the very same size of SL makes a really big impact on world economy.
he just said that in his last line

Vote while keeping in mind future economic "potential" of the country of your choice not the present economic condition. Also compare the countries based on future per-capita income , business environment , manufacturing capacity , infra , trade you expect the country of your choice to achieve and not solely on the size of Economies. I know prediction don't really matter but just give your honest opinion on each nation's economic potentials also taking their strategic location into consideration. Currently Sri Lanka leads the race.

Yes currently Sri Lanka lead by quite a margin (in various indicators; already comparable to some ASEAN "tigers" like Philippines and Indonesia), India Pakistan and Bangladesh following in the 2nd league.

In future potential, the whole South Asia is very optimistic. Among all my opinion would be still Sri Lanka, given its good foundation on HDI, Pakistan, on its various mega initiatives like Economic Corridor. Bangladesh and India also optimistic, new growth engine would be light industry. Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives while not likely to pursue industrialization path, would hopefully be modernizing their service sectors like tourism.

So long as the North South corridor China to Arabian sea

and

West East corridor, Central Asia to India are developed.

Pakistan has the greatest economic potential.

Yup. Given Pakistan's unique geo-political-cultural advantage it has great potentials:
  1. Geographically being both continental and maritime cross-roads between E/NE/N Asia and W/S Asia (& Europe, Africa)
  2. Gateway between the Muslim world and the Confucian world.
  3. Migration of manufacturing, techs, infrastructure and capital from alliance partners.
  4. Increasing influence on central Asia through the pivot of Afghanistan (as US pulled out from this region) so that Pakistan can now take command of regional (AFPAK) business development as well as security plans.
Let's work these out and make the best for Pakistan!

Political and social stability is a must to achieve the results of the potential.. Pakistan need to to do lot more as it stands

See here's the thing.

A large proportion of Pakistan's political and social problem are because of economic disparity.

I believe if we get a strong solid start; then it will be smooth sailing.
