Deewan Moti Ram was appointed by Ranjit Singh and he was the Deewan of Ranjit Singh.

The Noise Pollution Control and Regulation Rules of 2000 state that loudspeakers used must follow the prescribed decibel levels. It is 55 db during the day and 45 db during the night. For a silence zone it is at 50 db during the day and 40 db at night. With regard to the Azaan, the norm is that it should last not more than two or three minutes.



The Law is applicable for all.

But your guys only object to Muslims and ignore loudspeaker use in Mandirs.Azan is only for 2 minutes maximum but can't say about Mandirs how long they use it.

Moll Ram was first officiated as the governor of the Jalandhar Doab during the absence of bis father on military expeditions. After the death of his father in 1814, he was confirmed as governor of the Jalandhar Doab. In 1818, Moti Ram participated in the successful Multan campaign. He became the first governor of Kashmir when in 1819 the territory was conquered and annexed to the Sikh kingdom, but he became so heartbroken after the death of his son, Ram Dial, killed in the battle of Hazara in 1820, that he resigned his post and retired to Banaras to live the life of a recluse.

However, the Maharaja recalled him after an year and sent him again to Kashmir as governor which post he held up to 1826.
