G-6 jalos is mighty one. I visited many times to see shabeeh e Zuljanah due to my love with heavy breed horses.
Yes there are many groups Pashto matami group have unique style of matam, i heard most of them belong to Parachinar.


My Shia friends especially invites me on Chehlum jaloos (19 Saffar) for Haleem. They prepare 100 plus daighs to serve attendants.


Most of these Zuljanah belong to heavy breed horses and they are cared very well.

Not only pathan azadaar but also from GB their matam is almost perfectly choreographed left,centre,right in perfect order with the noha

I also saw some Iranis two years ago they have metal balls at ends of their zanjeers instead of blades

Nothing against Jaloos etc, but I personally hate the part where they slash and whip themselves with small knives. Even small children...! That should not be allowed!

I mean, if you want to do that, do it in some closed place. No issues. Why on earth you have to do it in the open? And sprinkle blood everywhere?

And funny enough, you wont see that sort of thing in Iran (or perhaps very rarely) !
