Some gimping and results here.

Harbah is about 6.57 meters long with booster, which is about 40 cm shorter than box standard Babur-1 and Babur-2.
Same as Babur-3 is also shorter and pays penalty in reduced range.

.
It does make sense as 450 km is also the maximum detection range of Pakistan's AWACS.

.
Question is , will there be a Babur - 4? The full range 750 Km version of SLCM?
That version may be possible after work on extending Agosta class Torpedo tubes finish and the full length Babur can be loaded on the submarines.

It seems like Pakistan has achieved seeker tech, tercom, turbo jet engines and many other key tech... Now I think next progression should be towards ram jet engines as they will provide us not only supersonic capability but we could also move towards self reliance on air to air Missiles...

That's erieye's range, the search range of zdk is over 500km. Coincidence, zdk guards the coastal belt.

With the Sea Kings getting Leonardo Seaspray 5300 radars (range >= 200 nm), ATR-72's being converted to MPA (with Seaspray 7300 radars) and existing Orions, PN has no compulsion to rely entirely on PAF for detecting surface targets at longer ranges.

The next step should be acquiring long range AESA radars for surface ships like Russian Mineral-ME/Chinese Type 366 OTH radars or Leonardo Kronos Grand Naval.

They can also station some Type 366/Mineral-ME on land, would be helpful for missiles launched near the shore or from land (e.g. Zarb). Note: below is how the Mineral-ME looks on land.

It would be ridiculous if its Babur-3. Babur-3 has been specially modified to be able to launch from underwater platforms. It is more expensive and complex than Babur-2. Why in the world would you use this missile for Surface launch?

It's probably a derivative from Babur-2. Its range and size has been reduced for economical, practical and logistical purposes. Why would you need an Anti-Ship missile with a range of 700km when you don't really possess the ability to detect, lock and follow targets that are 700km away. I figure its range is around 300km-400km.

Harbah was tested to a range of approx. 200 km and the target was likely detected/tracked by radars on board PNS Alamgir (AN/SPS-55 surface search radar). The 700 km range can be achieved for land based targets which don't require continuous tracking.

As @LeGenD mentioned on another thread, arming PNS Himmat (FAC-M) with these missiles came at a trade off - 6 Harbah missiles instead of 8 C-802A and a significant increase in RCS. To compensate this loss, Pakistan Navy should acquire ships like FAC-55, etc

I believe the Harba would have two variants in itself
1: AShM. Range 300-400KM
2: LACM. Range 700KM

...or specially designed ~1,000-ton corvettes (similar to Buyan-M) that can house the Harba ASCM/LACM in vertical launch system (VLS) cells.

Agreed. Lrger numbe4 of relatively cheaper crafts to engage a much bigger enemy from a relatively safe distance and shoot and scoot.
A symmetrical war.
