For farmers, I have already proposed crops insurance against erratic weather pattern in previous discussions, and river linking project to end dependency on monsoon.

1. these suicides happen every year.
2. there are water-based problems too ( heavy rain and hail-storm ).
3. river linking will take 10 years at least, what until then??
4. by "insurance", do you mean government will pay or the farmers themselves?? do you know the circumstance of farmer gajendra singh's death??

Given that the reason for most of the farmer suicide is private lenders, a strict law has to passed to curb on them.

what about nationalized banks and corporate banks that do it??

obviously, out of dozens of generations of a farmer's family line, he or she didn't grow wealthy enough to not take pitiful amounts of loan for immediate necessity ( whether real or cultural ) and that too on interest basis... there has been multi-generation poverty here.

Why do you have to? Do you think a Greek will agree to your bailout proposal? Get rid of the complex that everyone has to take your suggestion to manage their mess, or you hold the key to their salvation. People living there would know much better, just as USSR collapsed under the feet of it's citizens.

So far I know that you are a college drop out who used to work for a Bangalore software company and got fired by an "MBA type" for trying to start an union . I also know that you now pass the time working on cockless computers and trying to join the communist and AAP parties. Apparently you became a communist in order to impress fat chicks. ( I love that truly). I am not very frequent on this forum, so may have missed a lot of other stuff. Would love to know more. Why did you drop out of college? Do you currently have a job?
