Yes. Bravo, Musalman. Your attitude is true to the spirit of your username. This is an achievement the Indians (and whoever helped them) should be proud of.

Thank you, qsaark, for posting this.

I wonder, is there anything in the pipelines about Pakistani designed / manufactured helicopters?

Copters are old technology and there is nothing cutting edge about it.
Any country with an proper industrial base can make copters. And they should make copters only if it makes good business proposition.

Now talking of feeling proud about indias scientific prowess, its chandrayana mission is impressive and would definately feel very proud about a manned mission or a mission to mars.Even a good Anti Ballistic Missile System would very feel good factor.

“Seek knowledge, even if you have to go to China.” Certainly China was not a Muslim Empire. Yet there is an emphasis on 'learning' albeit of from whom, a Muslim or a non-Muslim. So sarcasm aside, I see 'Musalman's attitude true to the spirit of his username. Unfortunately there is no option to put more than one 'thank' otherwise I would have thanked him for his post one more time.

If we can enjoy the Aircrafts and other hardware (in use by the Pakistan military) by the USA, which happens to be the biggest enemy of Pakistan after Israel, why we cant enjoy the achievements of a relatively lesser enemy, India?

Qsaark, man. I was not being sarcastic. I was really congratulating Musalman on being a bigger man. Re-read what I wrote, you'll understand.

look buddy. i will say it again. DHRUV is indeed a good looking chopper but the credit must be given to whom it is deserved! in this case india is the biggest credit choor!

Dhruv-- designed by Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm / Eurocopter (Germany) apparently also designed BK-117 and Dhruv and the armed version of Dhruv uses....
-Rocket launchers from Belgium
-Rockets, guns and engines from France
-Brake systems from Italy
-Fuel tanks and gearboxes from Britain
-and self-protection equipment from a Swedish company.
-US systems
but 100% made in india!

can you tell me whats made in india in this chopper?

Assuming for a hypothetical moment that all this or parts of it may be true, grant the ppl involved for at least having the brains, infrastructure, goodwill among other nations, inclination, aptitude, funds & capability to do it.

Whats stopping others to emulate ?
