I've been following the forum since 2008 and I know some people might find the thread irritating as the tejas program have been or was in shambles though not anymore.The Mark2 or aka MWF looks promising.

good for HAL to finally realize there is a limit on Tejas because of it's small size and work on a proper solution.

However from the expected timeline it could be entering service at the same time as Project Azm (expected localized J-31) so doesnt bother us. Meanwhile JF-17 could be at Block-4 or 5.

I won't get into that dick measuring concepts though, neither i would say Tejas as a top notch aircraft rather a tech know-how experience.Moreover, You may be right the MWF might enter service by 2027 and will start replacing Mig-29s and Mirage but by the that time Su-57 problems between both the govts will be sorted out.

On the first day of Aero India two jets were collided destroyed, and on 5th day there was fire in the car parking.

I won't get into that dick measuring concepts though, neither i would say Tejas as a top notch aircraft rather a tech know-how experience.Moreover, You may be right the MWF might enter service by 2027 and will start replacing Mig-29s and Mirage but by the that time Su-57 problems between both the govts will be sorted out.

it's in jeopardized but India has kept it's options open we may have backed out from the entire fgfa program for a while however the govt has already said that we may join it at a later stage.

No Russian is not giving source code for upgrade FGFA at home and also IAF is not satisfied with its stealth Characteristics, your FGFA Sega is almost over @Shreyas Karambelkar

Nope.As i said they have only kept it on back burner for a while,once the problems between both govt's are sorted out the fgfa will join.Or the IAF might purchase it off the shelf like she did with the MKI.Moreover, no IAF is not being unsatisfied how can it be unsatisfied even though she haven't got her hands on it?

believe what you want, lots of senior and professional members here on PDF saying that your FGFA Sega is over, its just a matter of time that Indian govt announce to close the FGFA @Shreyas Karambelkar

dont really care what those "Elite" "Senior" "Brigadier" bla bla has to say regarding FGFA program.I would rather rely on a reliable source such as the IAF itself and of course Defense attaches to Russia.
