Tayyip Erdogan to be blamed for this mess. He systematically eroded democratic institutions. Now he is facing the same problem he created.
Nothing gives right to the military to undertake a coup. Its not that bad. He is still fighting elections. Dont give my country a bad name by supporting coups.

. . . . . . . . .
Some reasons why the coup will fail
1)Very few Turks want return to the military rule even among the critics of Erdogan
2)The Turkish military is not at rutheless as the Egyptian military that murdered 1000 protesters in cold blood
3)AKP has strong support from Turkish society
4)According to reports the leaders of the Turkish military do not support the revolt. This means that many Turk officers will consider the coup as illegal
5)Turkey is a vast country. Controlling Ankara is not enough

. .
**** the attempted coup and **** the people who orchestrated it, they're going to embarrass themselves and then the tide will turn against them.

Tanks have opened fire near the Turkish parliament building, Reuters reports, following similar reports from NTV and local journalists about gunfire in Ankara and Istanbul.

Protesters have heard Erdogan’s call to take to the streets, though, and some are chanting “shoulder to shoulder against the coup”. Others have squared off with military forces who’ve closed bridges and streets. In one video, a policeman and military officer argue in a crowd in the street; in another, cars jammed in traffic honked horns in unison as people mill among them. In a third, a crowd sings and lifts up a huge Turkish flag.
