Thats a disinformation...

They were beaten but no beheading activity
Omg they made up that also, with a blink of an eye they crap all kind of nonsense. Despite they attempted a coup and made enormous crimes, they dont blush, they turn back and rant the innocent people.

Understood. Its just the way Attaturk made out to be the utlimate hero in Turkey, its like accepting something lesser when you had much bigger personalities to cherish in your history. Its a strange anomaly looking from outside.
To me they are equal. Suleiman perfected an Empire, Atatürk broke the wrists of hostile Empires reaching out to enslave us. Ofcourse people disagree on details but I will just as readily face down someone who ridicules Suleiman (or any notable Sultan), just as I would face down anyone that ridiculed Atatürk. They are both my ancestors and men of big accomplishments

Your hero should be the Suleiman the magnificent, NOT a secular Ataturk. Its a defeatist mentality to worship those who were hanging by straws as oppose to those who brought the glory in real terms. The two men were poles apart, Islamist Vs secularist. Sorry to burst your bubble but from outside, the impression of Ataturk is of some one who made his country a sidekick of western civilization, far from being a pain the backside. Having said that, todays Turkey under current leadership is moving in right direction. That why its heartening to see that Turks have resisted this secular coup with full force.

Reading Quran, praying 5 times are individual acts, they are not related how the state should work. That is where the Islamic socialism or as they say "Sharia" (way of life) comes into play. It is the most misunderstood concept or shall I say, a deliberate confusion created around it. The best way to understand it, its to look and study how the first state in Madina functioned.

There is a lot of great Turkish rulers and conqueror thru the centuries but without Mustafa Kemal there wouldn't be a nation called Turks, a country called Turkey... you probably don't understand what that means. Go read about all his reforms, all things he did for this country, all his wins and losses on the front. He is not a person that made us a buddies with the west as The West as a concept just wasn't similar to what we now have. He only cared for this country to go forward, for Turks to become a successful nation... things that some people after him didn't care about and preferred to sell us.
You probably don't know but the Ottoman Empire was also pretty open towards Western Influences as we were trading with westerners, westerners have always been traveling around the empire, we were having diplomatic missions into their countries, we were using their expirience in building some institutions and in those last decades of the Empire I can say we were heavily dependent on their goods and finances. At the same time Turks have been always living together with all different kinds of people from all etchnicities and religions in a lot of parts of the empire whom we influenced and from whom we got influenced so to a lot of Turks the "western" type of thinking is not so foreign.
You talk about Suleiman the Magnificent who was really a great leader but he was living 500 years ago in times that are so much different than ours but you will most probably find people who remember Ataturk's funeral. Ataturk is still a leader that most Turks love and respect no matter if you like it or not.

just wow coup bastards killed my people hundreds but 1 soldier was beaten badly this is sick, barbarism bla bla fake humanists
I have seen many articles from western media....

And none of these videos.

But they articulate fake news..... @flamer84 just one word....**** you and all you son of the bitch westerners.

Bro, its just the way you look at it. Looking at Turks history, who would be the better man? Suleiman the magnificent or Ataturk? One who brought the glory in real terms or the one hanging by straws?

They were both men of their time. Again its dishonesty to claim Ataturks achievements were any less than Suleimans. Qanuni inherited a vast Empire with a well drilled army. Certainly he was a charismatic and able leader but you cant compare his situation to Ataturks. The latter led a beaten army whose morale had been destroyed by the Ottoman surrender, to victory not against one but several enemies, all at the same time (Greeks, Armenians, Italians etc etc). He is without a doubt one of the greatest generals the Muslim world has had. Without his existence there would be no Turkey that Erdogan is leading today.

We know you're hurt over this failed attempt, and trying to find every way to discredit the democracy in Turkey, meanwhile in your country I'm sure these troops would be burnt alive.... So spare us crocodile tears, humiliation is very common thing of coup soldiers, much worse in other nations.

Thank you
People in your country get killed for eating beef. Imagine what could happen if they killed human beings. There's a limit to hypocrisy and stupidity.

In every country their are idiots who kill in the name of religion, politics or any thing illogical and I think none of us are countries are apart from it

But all soldiers need to be treat with dignity and respect ..... that too when they are protecting our own land

Good to see Turkish people have overcome this crisis and now they can go forward .. democracy is the only way that should be practiced regarding forming governments ...
This is part of becoming an islamic country. You can't be islamic without some beheadings here and there.

But,on a more positive side, some 10.000 Romanian tourists are canceling their summer trips to the caliphate this summer.
It's off topic but just as reminder, do you have any clue that how many people were beheaded by French troops in Algeria? or how the entire South America now speaking Portuguese or Spanish and have faith in Jesus? even guillotine as a beheading machine is a French word ...

Ataturks is a strange anomaly in history of Islam. Screwing up the khilafa movement in which our ancestors toiled and shed blood, stripping Turks out of their Muslim identity, and having links with freemasonry, these are very uncomfortable facts which are not spoken about.

The president negotiates with Cipras for the deliverance of 8 "soldiers".

I dont understand how immature people here are .... just always to accuse or frame certain religion, nationality etc for everything they see bad....... u are not mature enough to be a defence forum members --- petty bigots

Coup ... was good or bad or verse it is for the Turkish people to decide .... instead trying to instigate religion and culture

The forum should be for understanding , reasoning and updating about the subject
