some 48300 images missing

heey IT experts i have a 500gb Toshiba external hard desk . it have a folder filled with some 48300 Pakistani forces and defense related photos but yesterday when i connect this shitty device i find images folder 0bytes with this look . give me some solution if you stupids have any .

Check if some one erased them or some virus has infected your system.

There are some softwares to recover deleted files check in the Internet.

it was not deleted bro it was more then 20gb it seems something went wrong in system

Try it on a different computer. Your USB port might not be working properly on the computer you have. Virus problem may be but not the hard disk, but on your computer. I had also faced the same problem. Try also changing the connection chord also

How old is your Hard Disk and are you able to access other folders , if other folders are accessible then please try to copy so other pic and disconnect you HD and try to access if again ???

If you can access the pic then blame your wife for deleting those pics ???

Check for first System restore option if the restore point is say few days earlier

Or use specific recovering software if its accidental deletion.

Last is that if the hard disk file system may be corrupt if you are using it for a long time and say a bit rough usage (as we normally do)

if such a thing happened then still you can use recover all the files by a quick formatting and using software.. But pls save rest of the data securely..

Also buy a new ext HD bcz if there is a bad sector corruption then this may get repeated as well.
