Yeah I don't know why they didn't kill them. I was under the impression that it was in the regulations of the uk police that if a officer opens fire it is only ever to kill and not maim/wound as such they aim for centre mass. In this CAS sit seem they shot them in the legs.

"life imprisonment" is 14 years here IIRC. Will probably get out early for "good behaviour".
