What's new

so called srilanka war

From 01-Jan-2009 to 30-March-2009 ..
3812 innocent Tamil people killed by Srilankan Army it includes more than 900 children.
UN report says .. Every day 42 Tamil people are killed by Srilankan Army
They are their own citizens .
Srilankan government not allowed UN and ICRC members in Vanni (Tamil place in Srilanka)
They want to hide the news from the entire world .. Planned and Perfect GENOCIDE

While all pontificate on these things it appears that everyone has forgotten that the LTTE would NOT let the civilians leave the fighting area.
I hear not comment about that aspect.

Also while this is a tragic issue it seems people forget the number of civilians killed for little more reason than they were Sri Lankaian.

As for some wanting to pontificate in big ways remember that India had a reasonable hand in part of this, LTTE, and in the lead up to the Indian election one politician was proposing the development of a Tamil land in Sri Lanka and India would go froth and make it happen, ie attack Sri Lana.

Now Pakistan and a few others are not exactly clean as they helped, in material ways, the government of SL to fight but did they help to bring this to a diplomatic solution as an alternative?

As for the UN and the rest of the world, what did they ever really do to try to prevent this whole conflict dragging on for as long as it did with eth numbers of people killed?

Bluntly no one is innocent so keep it in perspective.

Haawk some of you emil pics just don't work you may want to fix that or just drop them completely.

First, LTTE has fought with the SL army in conventional war, read up a bit.

Secondly, there's a big difference between killing for fun and not caring about civilain casualties. LTTE had to be defeated, but the dead / displaced civilians need justice too.

Still you are making your point that srilanka killed civilians on purpose. It’s better to end war rather than waiting and continue blood bath for another 4 years or so.
