Just ordered on Flipkart for 6999.

The white one was not there (kids disappointed) but I guess the grey one will be less yo puppy.

I have been using all latest smart phones as normally dont stick with one for more than few months and i have noticed that there is nothing called perfect smartphone in every sense. Samsung latest smart phones have best camera especially s5/s6/note 4/5 etc and their battery life is also great but their software or touchwiz suck . HTC smart phones m8/m9/e8/e9/desire eye give you best sound you could ever get in smartphones as no others brand give you such boomsound with great loudness and deep bass but htc phones have average or probably worse camera

Sony smartphones give you ip ratings(water dust proof) and they have great battery life and design is also premium and you get update to latest android version very quickly as my z2 is running 5.1.1 from few months now and sony keep pushing update but camera quality is again average compare to Samsung and they also have heat issues when you record 4k video or play games. I like the software of sony so they are good all-round phones. i wish sony improve its camera quality as its not just pixel game..dont know why their mobiles are not selling well

HTC has most powerful speakers, but quality with headphones inst as good as Sony, but lately Sony has brought major changes to the walkman app and i am not enjoying it a bit. Custom Music apps on all brands sound atrocious, this is where Sony had an edge.
Dont understand why Sony is still sticking with water proofing, because of that Sony phones heat up. I have used Xperia ZL, which was non water resistant sister phone of Xperia Z. Its speaker was remarkably loud and had no heating issues.
Sony G lens are great, but unfortunately image processing on Sony phones suck big time. Xperia Z2 takes much better pictures than Z3.

I have heard note 5 has improved touch wiz which was laggy in previous phones. Battery life is great as well evthough capacity of battery is not big so note 5 is my ideal phone right now along with s6 edge which are expensive right now wait few more months before getting one. They are benchmark champion as well..

Now battery and IP is very important for me as i often use phone in rain thatswhy i am still with z2. I am on rooted running custom ROM and flashed dolby audio mod for headphones which is amazing and probably best headphone music experience i got till now with this Mod. Battey last whole day after heavy usage and thatswhere z2 and z3 compact win. Htc/apple/lg lack in battery department so they are not for me

If it wont be your primary then it's fine because G4 has poor battery, especially when the wifi and screen are on.

Yea its depend on user choice about whether they prefer super Amoled or lcd/super Lcd / Retina display. AMOLED is good for black or sunlight visibility but white dont look pure white on Amoled display. Amoled also offer more saturation and contrst .Lcd display give more natural colour. I think 720p screen is more than enough for mobiles so these extra pixel just killing battery life.

If you are audiophile then you should root after your warranty expire and try some great sound mods on XdA. I am using this MOD

Another good thing about z series is that they are quiet cheap compare to others brand even when they are offering more . I got two used z2 phones from ebay in excellent condition ..one was for £130 and second for £150 . I never buy brand new because i always root
