Lifafa anchors don't understand economy at all. The fuel price is not a short term shock. Once prices stay at 270pkr for a while, the economy will suffer significantly as inflation goes through the roof. People won't be able to spend as much so businesses will suffer and GDP will drop. Oil forecasts say the price will be around $100 for at least 18 months and possibly longer.
Even here in the UK fuel prices are at an all time high and people are struggling. It will be much much worse in Pakistan due to the average income being lower.
