yaar wahan kay loog be hamaree thara ho tai hain. some of those people fighting for azadi from India use to come to our house in 60s and 70s and they ate like almost a whole goat. lol, after they would get full they'd wanna sleep until food gets digested. Anyways your point about moving on is valid, however, we souldn't have our water problems at the same time don't you think so ?

i agree, the cabin crew was very irresponsible, PIA needs to get rid of those old aunties, they can barely walk

Indeed yaar but it infuriates me to know end thinking of how Pakistan fought for them in '48, in '65 and perhaps even in Kargil along with supporting their Mujahideen who came here to our side ! One may blame the Government for stupid policies and I'm sure just as successive GOP's have foOked up Pakistan they probably came up with less than admirable policies for Kashmir ! But the common Pakistani is still with them...even now and despite all of that they're saying 'Hum India ke saaath tou nahin rehnaa chahteii...paaar hum aaap ke saaath bhi nahin rehnaa chahteiii' - Yeh Kaissaa silla Pakistaniyon keh liyee....? Har jagaa Pakistan has supported Kashmiris, talked about their rights, on every international forum we've struck up an enmity with India over this...for them ! And when the moment of truth comes they say - We don't want to be with ! As Kashmiri that feels like as if I've been stabbed in the back and so I'm thinking along the lines of then 'theek hai...to hell with you too' !

Kashmiri generally wasay be bohot chouimoui hotay hain. If they would get sick or if someone attacks them, they would fear. Pakistan gave them what they wanted but baskitimi say ye logo na shookree be hon tai hain. Politicains have indeed made mistakes, if they needed to occupy the land, they could have when walk in the park opportuities were given. This current middile ground is indeed pain the a$$!

Politicains have indeed made mistakes, if they needed to occupy the land, they could have when walk in the park opportuities were given. This current middile ground is indeed pain the a$$!

I mean the Kashmiris on this side of the border (AJK) and the Gilgit-Baltis are proud Pakistanis and others like me who are Punjabis of Kashmiri of descent...we're probably even more loyal to Pakistan but the guys across the border ? Damn...sometimes it shames me to admit that I'm from the same ethnic group ! They got run over by the Mughals, then the Afghans, then the Dogras and finally now the Indians - I mean 'spineless' would probably be too light a word to describe their sense of 'pride' and 'love for liberty' !

I mean the Kashmiris on this side of the border (AJK) and the Gilgit-Baltis are proud Pakistanis and others like me who are Punjabis of Kashmiri of descent...we're probably even more loyal to Pakistan but the guys across the border ? Damn...sometimes it shames me to admit that I'm from the same ethnic group ! They got run over by the Mughals, then the Afghans, then the Dogras and finally now the Indians - I mean 'spineless' would probably be too light a word to describe their sense of 'pride' and 'love for liberty' !

These American/NATO can't fight against extremists and i reckon Pak Army will be better of handling them like Waziristan style operations. Adda masl molk ka haal ho jai gha even from foreign spy agencies.

We've suffered so much because of them but then again my friend Hyperion *hes a tribal pukhtoon PDfer* says that Afghanistan is defacto Pakistani territory and that the real Pukhtoons don't hate Pakistan but actually like them ! Meraa experience farqqq hai...so I'm still undecided...pataaa nahin well see !

PIA issues notice to Air France

LAHORE – PIA management has issued notice to Air France and sought explanation in a case wherein a French woman enjoyed an 18-hour journey from Lahore Airport to Paris and back again after sleeping through her plane’s stopover in the French capital by a PIA’s scheduled flight, a few days back, said sources in the PIA on Friday.

They said that as per claim of PIA management it was the duty of the ground handling agency of Air France to disembark the total number of passengers from the plane at Paris Airport but they failed to do so.

However, a PIA pilot seeking anonymity told this scribe that as per SOP of flight operations it was duty of the Senior Purser to ensure disembarkation of all the passengers on board after arriving at any destination.

He said that PIA should investigate its own cabin crew instead of blaming Air France staff.

Another PIA officer on condition of anonymity said that it might be that the French woman whose visa for Pakistan had expired wanted to stay more in Pakistan, deliberately returned to Pakistan.

The sources claimed that it was pure negligence of Senior Purser who failed to check the number of passengers who disembarked at Paris Airport.

They claimed that since flight was in transit and after flying from Lahore it landed at Milan Airport where not only passengers disembarked but also passengers for Lahore via Paris were boarded.

So when the flight reached Paris all the passengers did not disembark but certain passengers apart from the woman in question remained seated in the plane due to which Senior Purser could not notice that lady.

However, spokesman of PIA said that airline was looking into the matter that how ground crew failed to notice the woman during the plane’s two-hour stopover at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris and after completion of inquiry process, the responsible persons would be taken to task.

The woman did not mention her own mistake to the cabin crew and the matter only came to light when she was stopped by immigration officials on arrival back at Lahore Airport.
