Yes i also slept on roof many times when i went to my village. Here also i slept few times on the roof. This is very nice when you looks straight towards the stars and talks with it, count it, Trys to search alien or new thing on the sky as researcher.:D.

During summer vacations, I was with my grandparents in my village and we had a huge mosquito net on the roof and all of us cousins used to sleep together and we used to tell stories to each other before sleeping, it was lot of funs.
Many time we have to ran away when it suddenly started raining in mid of the night.

Such a beautiful place!! You are lucky guys, but aren't you afraid of harmful insects? such as spiders or scorpions?

I don't think I ever heard of a scorpion in Pakistan; they might exist but are not widespread all around the country. Spider's are not a big problem either TBH, at least I personally never had a problem with them.

I spend at least half my nights of the 2 months I usually spend in Pakistan sleeping on the roof. The fresh breeze, the open sky..it's all too good to sleep inside the house, loadshedding or no loadshedding :)

don't you guys worry that aliens might abduct you and run experiments and copulate with you?

You have an odd way of thinking

If anything, it's them eating me or something..although I've grown out of all that alien stuff..

I watched a bunch of videos on Youtube about very creepy and poisonous insects in South East Asia, mostly, in India. Of course there are such insects everywhere, but thankfully I haven't encountered any of them. When I was a child, I used to have a fantsy of being a king, the first order I would have issued to my army is to kill all insects and reptiles in the country.

Lovely experience, sweet memories and times. But as my home is near airport, I cannot have the fun you all have/had. The worst happens when a 747 roars with thunder!
