Initially there were two JF-17s and two Mirages escorting the VIP's aircraft, later another JF-17 joined up to conduct the flypast over the dais. But seeing six in a formation will be an awesome sight.

This looks like footage from another jet fighter, probably shot by PAF officially.

Yes it was filmed from a chase plane most likely an F-16B, for safety the pilot had to keep the distance but with a better camera the cameraman could have zoomed in closer.
