Six FC personnel martyred as convoy attacked in Kech district

The FC Vehicle hit an IED during an operation against the terrorists.
Other soldiers managed to send four scumbags to hell.

RIP causalities.
Poor Ops Planning.
Poor deployment.
Very Poor Leadership.

I wouldn't blame the Transport only.

@Army research , Your dad is an ex-sapper, right? Can you ask how many FC personnel have been trained in IED Training School, Risalpur, for IED detection and handling training ?

I know there are officers and soldiers from foreign countries coming in to train on IED warfare there.

True

FC Balochistan has the worst performance among all when it comes to counter insurgency even though the kind of threat they face is much lower as compared to FC KPK that has to face the likes of TTP etc
Gotta agree with you on this one, but i will raise question to the OC Ops also. FC troops are led by Regular PA Officers.

It was an intelligence based operation but sadly the troops overlooked the danger of IEDs,

Perhaps using IED as a coverup, otherwise how'd they kill 4 Ts in retaliation. Ambushes are like that, unfortunately.

IED's are very tough to stop. There is plenty evidence of them taking out armoured vehicles with ease, although the FC transport is poor and makes them even more vulnerable.

These guys should be equipped with Hamza 8x8 & 6x6s.. they patrol on shitty toyota pickups.. with no protection from ambushes and IEDs.

In such a scenario the enemy just needs slingshots and could cause harm....

.
convoys must be given more protection, new paramilitary should be established while the FC etc should be expanded. vehicles must be armored.

libs and hypocrite lefty apologists like jibby will be silent or would blame the state

Get the mastermind bastard and get him now. ISI pull up your socks...

The old man retired just before the first 2007 ops began , however in regards to your question,
There's many family or family friends or July personal friends parents in FC , even from sappers,
Quite a lot of them undergo training , they have their own specialists,
However the foreign supplied IED these bast**** use are very hard to detect , and sometimes have a observer with a detonator who just explodes them ,
Engineers mostly demine known mined areas or IED areas however or provide on the move detection to advancing or clearance forces , but predefined patrol routes have normal FC soldiers, not expecting a IED , I believe anti ied training is part of NCTC as well where above 250 k have been trained so far

But the survival rate greatly increases.

An armoured MRAV with a 30mm or 105mm canon.. is enough to intimidate any mudafuka soil his pants.

Thanks

Considering that four terrorists were killed too. It might not be an IED attack. It looks to be an ambush for which we we didn't expect and hence loss of our men. The troops later got their shit together and killed the 4 rats.

it was land mine. un-armored vehicle is to be blamed.

As The Prime Minister said we have to address Smuggling. This is another reason that smuggling has to be rooted out and stopped. Better intelligence on known munitions traffic and know how also has to be followed up. but at the same time, rapidly addressing backwardness and discrimination will mitigate the real grievances that can turn into open hostility if not addressed. Carrots and Sticks.

I don't know for how log our military personals will keep patrolling on Toyota trucks without any protection from small arms and IED. Its need of the time to equip the military convoys with HAMZA APC or equivalent multi-role combat vehicles.

I have said this before plenty of times and some members didn't like the truth BUT the fact is that the more Pakistan Generals bend backwards for the US, the more they will get kick up their butts, and US will keep killing good Pak Soldiers. I understand why the A-Stan war was necessary and for Pakistan to get involved, but the Generals have allowed this country to be devastated when they jumped in bed with US after 9/11. There was absolutely no justification for the generals to get involve in such a dirty game. Even today, they can wrap up this game in literally days and weeks but they have NOT. This points to some very dirty dealings taking place at the expense of ordinary Pakistani people.
