NO ISPR always report any causality. Rtd Generals are not always up to dated informed. Perhaps he read this news on social media just like the way topic starter of this thread and shared it. While New York times and WP copied the unconfirmed news from some Pakistani news outlets. There was no such news on Dawn and Express Tribune yesterday as well nor did any Pakistani Tv channel report it.

In last months Kurram clashes, 5 Pakistani soldiers were killed but ISPR did not issue any update after intial rep of two soldiers killed even though Afghanistan returned five bodies.

Last month's GHQ award function also showed that ISPR did not report several casualties on LoC during 2016.

Also NYT & WAPO picked up reports from Associated Press which quoted two Pakistani security officals.

ISPR never mentiond anything about five casualties or even bodies Bing returned.

Anyways in 2016 ISPR announced casualties on LoC on only 3 dates; 29 September, 14 November, 23 November (Kotli sector) But the GHQ award ceremony last month showed that there were LoC casualties on 28 October, 8 November, 19 November, 23 November (Kel sector) even though at that time there were no such mentions by ISPR:
