The film "Shivaji: The Boss" is a forthcoming Tamil language film, prior to release, has re-written several Indian records at the box-office starting with the most costly production to date with 60 crores, overtaking, the 2002 Bollywood film, Devdas which cost the producer 50 Indian crores. With Sivaji, the lead actor, Rajinikanth becomes the highest paid actor in India receiving 20 Indian crores for his portrayal of the title character.However these new-set records, especially the former are under threat by another major Tamil language project, Dasavatharam.

yaar i never felt bad abt ur statement. Even im not a big fan of him.. but there is something catching in his movies... may be his numbers or his passion towards poor people...
he used to help poor a lot... thats y he is having a good ground support. Im a srilankan and even among our community he is a hero.
One more thing.. does anyone know that he is not a tamil. He was a bus conductor in KSRTC(karnataka state road transport co). i think he is frm karnataka or maharashtra.. im not sure. He is a hero frm zero....
And anyway im waiting for 15th june to watch the movie, first show first day....
im sure my money wont be a waste... the songs are big hit and defenitly the pic will be a super hit.

Oh I made the mistake of making fun of him in front of a Tamil girl. Lol I had a malayalee on my side. Lol she went on to argue that 90% of Amitabh's dialogs are ripped from Rajnikant movies.

For some reason I really can't see Rajni doing those smoking angry scenes. It would be like winnie the pooh getting angry.
