Sit together with clean heart, Nawaz asks India
Reminds me of Yousaf Reza Gilani, who said some thing like that 'those who have grievences shall leave Pakistan' I say..... let's ship this idiot Indian lover to India.
ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Monday urges India to sit together and make a new beginning in its ties with Pakistan to resolve all outstanding issues between the two countries.
Let us make a new beginning. Let us sit together to resolve all outstanding issues in a friendly manner and in a peaceful atmosphere, he said in a message telecast on a private channel.
The Prime Minister said before 1947 people of Pakistan and India used to live together, adding that now 65 years of independence have passed and both the countries needed to improve their ties for betterment and prosperity.
We must become good friends. Hold each others hands. We must sit together with open and clean heart, he said.
Prime Minister Nawaz told people of India, We have a lot of love and affection for you and we must become good friends.
On Thursday last, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also tried to ease tensions with India by urging both sides to work swiftly to shore up a 10-year ceasefire threatened by recent attacks.
The prime minister expressed these views during a briefing by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials at the Foreign Office in Islamabad one day before Eidul Fitr.
He made the remarks after a Pakistani civilian was injured by firing from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir.
Nawaz said that it was imperative for both India and Pakistan to take effective steps to ensure and restore ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC), the heavily militarised border dividing the disputed Kashmir region.
