A Kid does not know if the country is first world developing etc for him what he sees is what parents and school teachers show.
The reason why I wanted you to see the Japanese system was to understand how important are ethics. The Culture that is being followed in Sub Continent specially for Muslims is Persian. Where as India is slightly behind as they can not consent to one culture due to then enormity of the large size.
You are living in India but would agree that Delhi and Chennai do not bond well. Then there is the South Indian and Mumbai Culture.
Where as it is far easier for Pakistan to have a single culture.
You have obviously not lived with the Russians or French because they would not reply to you if one speaks with them in English even though they would know English.
Role of parents has been important since time and memorial but tell me how much time does a child spend with their parents. From 7 am to 2 pm in School then from 3 pm to 7 pm for tuition. 8 or 9 they go to sleep. so where is the time for the parents .Not to mention Fathers are working since 9 am to 7 pm and mothers are also busy with work specially in middle class. If elites then they are always busy with parties and events of socialising no time for the child as the child is in the custody of a servent.
Unfortunately this is the harsh reality today as we have adopted the Western culture where there is no concept of family life.

Yes, I agreed partially but it does not mean that having a vibrating culture is a weakness. I am from the north but now settled in the south. Also, I made good friends in Bangalore.
Unsure your meant by bonding but for me, it is more about adaptation ability. If north or west people are going to move in the south then they should have adaptation ability to accept the changes and vice versa.
I don't find any hate mentality between south Indian and north Indian.

NO, it is about all individual mentality.
I could say in a simple line that if two Marathi people meet then they speak in Marathi, the same goes for Tamil, Telugu, Hindi or Kannada...
So would one Tamil guy will speak to another Tamil guy in English or Hindi? or two Hindi spoken guys in any other language.

Yes, the role of parents is always important. But I am not agreed to depend on learning about our culture, regions, and sociopolitical by school textbooks.
Why do they need to teach? It is the job of parents, family, and people around in the society. A kid can easily
The two things are always in any society - Good and Bad.
A healthy society accepts the good things from the other society and progress. you should not be a denial mode by saying that our society is greatest to others and we do not need to learn from any other society.
