What's new

Sindudesh has signifcant support in Sindh.

As I said before PPP takes it votes from Sindhi nationalist card. I have explained in a previously in another thread how PPP totally changed Sindhi’s position before 1971 and after it, it gave Sindhis their rights and actually accomplished it (which was deleted for some reason, showing 'racism', it wasn’t even given chance to ask the mod why?).
so what do you think centeral government should do to develop sindh? like if you are the PM of Pakistan and see without sindh becoming rich its nearly impossible for pak to become rich
so from your perspective you need to get it back- get rid of PPP or any other anti-development party while also taking care of the interests of local people (this is good cause we should have honest conversations to raise awareness of issues in order to get rid of issues and help our nation progress)

Brother I am just saddened I see Sindhi history and I feel like yall should have been leading Pakistan in every metric and industry (you still are with Karachi but I am saying interior Sindh throughout history attracted people cause it was rich with ancient industries, farmland, civilizational qualities) so from that perspective, I want yall to fix your issues or if there's issue here lets fix it
so we can get back to the road and take Sindh to a developed province with at least 10K per capita GDP - attract industrialists, open SEZ (even here every one is finishing up their SEZ but PPP said it'll take them a decade to develop there's- how will yall get employment?- interior Sindh's SEZ was the prime location where every Chinese exporter was looking at to buy land and export products but now nothing will happen)

There are issues we need to address from both sides to make sure Sindh develops cause without it Pakistan cant develop

No, this is not what they want so this is not what's going to happen nor is PTI even floating such ideas in Thier manifesto

only Punjab and KPK is somewhere where new provinces, local body system is being talked about

Karachi needs strong local body mayoral system not little provinces- you know how provinces work?
They need a lot of finances to operate

Punjab would have a hard time if you make little provunces- lots of money comes from Faisalabad and you distribute it

With small divisions there's no money for some like deindustrialized south or some districts of Centeral Punjab while a lot for the other

A big hurdle to SP province historically was - lack of tax money if it came to fruition
so SP politicians would back down after a while

money is not the issue. the nfc takes care of that already. Besides right now the elite centres are already leeching off money that should be going to the underdeveloped areas.

real issue is some ppl will lose their power. if pti gets into power again & says they'll dissolve current provinces they'll have yet another headache to deal with. A headache that is not a priority given the state we're in especially considering that pmln & ppp will fight tooth & nail to prevent it. Just look at how troublesome creating a south Punjab province has been.

btw this isn't a new idea. I remember reading that it was floated during zia-ul haqs time as well, I believe. Can't remember why it was rejected though.

No problem, Punjab can simply put a halt on their water taps and can choke them and turn their SIndhudesh into a barren graveyard. So they those Sindhi Sayeins should calm down.

and they can stop your sea access- I say it all the time
read our history- this Indus valley is dependent on each other for over centauries
everyone adds strength to each other's weakness

After barren lands, there won't be much left there to resist. We can always access it through Baluchistan which is 42% of Pakistan. So don't try to blackmail us with this sea access.

No need to get blackmail

Karachi the biggest city of Sindh and the only port city and it doesn't care about this nonsense

Smartest idea would be to get quick technology from Israel/USA/Europe/China on modern irrigation. We could leverage our existing drone industry for this as well to measure which soil/land has the best heating/soil for growth as well as automate watering via drones.

This way interior sindh/Balochistan/South punjab can be greenified and agriculture expanded significantly. The gold to this would be desalitination.

Please refer to this- https://www.gov.il/en/departments/general/project-water-desalination-background#:~:text=Today some 585 million m3,the Ashdod plant 100 million.

With Desalination plants Pakistan would be able to utitlize the oceans water for agriculture and human consumption by filtering out the salt from salty sea water.

Israel only has 5 of these plants. Pakistan can easily build 5 for each province (include GB/Kashmir)= 25 Plants along Sindh/Balochistan. We could significantly reduce our water shortages within a decade via Modern Irrigation tech+ Desalitination Plants.

On top of building more Dams. We would essentially become a water surplus nation.

That is why there is a resentment against immigrants by natives in Sindh and it fuels anti-Pakistan sentiment among Sindhis. Which Jeay Sindh groups gather support from and PPP ones from the moderate Sindhi nationalists.
Their aspirations are fascist in spirit and action and seeks undemocratic solution to deny the rights of the majority non-Sindhi population of Pakistan. They ought to be crushed with little mercy unless they give their undemocratic ways and let the electorate decide the fate of their province. May be they should let the Urdu Speakers have a province of their own consisting of Karach/Hyderabad region.

For the last few years at least, if you drive through interior Sindh, not even too deep, just on the main bloody highway N5 you will regularly find Sindudesh flags flying around on houses or on streets. These flags are both new and years old.

I have even seen a few sizeable gatherings of Sindudesh supporters.

Look what a shithole the finanical capital of Pakistan is under PPP. Now just imagine what some random villages' conditions will be like? The murders, torture, and slavery in this feudal system are an open secret.

The attacks by SRA while conveniently supported by India, are a possible because of grassroots support caused by PPP's amazing governance of Sindh, with blessings of they-who-must-not-be-named.

It's like you and your kids lives are a joke to them.
Good. It is to be hoped that India attacks Pakistan ,so that Ghazwe Hind can commence and concurrently majority of the murtad Sindhi and Punjabis can be eliminated .

I will be honest here it's been a while since I traveled into remote areas of Sindh or Balochistan. my last visit was back in 2019. I have become a paper-pusher lately... as Khan sb said, 'mujhe office mein betha dia, ab mera wazaan barh giya hai'

I traveled extensively to project sites in Khuzdar, Lasbela, and interior sindh b.w the period of 2012 - 2018.

Traveling out of Hyderabad or at times Karachi, we would take N55, at Sehwan turn west, driving around 'Manchar jheel' and through the unmarked roads enter Khuzdar.

As you exit Sehwan and on other side, Hyderabad...all you would find are the flags of Sindhi Nationalists, now banned militant organization JSQM and SRA, painted on the walls. Every now and then they would hold protests or rallies but nothing in significant or a large crowd.

In Dadu or Moro region i did not witness this all lot, not sure why but then as you go towards Naushahro feroze, Bhria Road, Padidan, Bandhi you will start seeing the flags hoisted and painted on the walls.

Back in 2012-2015, (post killing of JSQM Chairman Bashir Qureshi) support had died down significantly . There was barely any shutdown of the national highways (N5 or N55)
but I remember that towards 2018 things started to pick up the pace again....there were gatherings, protests, flags etc.

I guess we dropped our guard down and allowed them to gather up again. Credit for this goes to Zardari sb who played on the other side of fence and allowed shafi barfat to hold protests in Sindh recently.... by 2020 things were back on track for these militant groups. By end of 2020 BLA announced support for SRA and they carried out their first grenade attack in Ghotki on Rangers vehicles in march 2021, followed by another attack in Karachi.

This is not exhaustive list but some of the areas where i witnessed significant support for Nationalists:

It will be irrelevant if what he states is true....
Some months ago on the N-55 I came across a Sindudesh, PPP and France (??) large flag planted next to each other on well made iron poles on a cylindrical concrete/stone platform. They were pretty old, the PPP flag looked newer.

I have no idea what they have in common.

Sindhudesh flag is of JSQM, while that France looking flag is of STP led by Qadir Magsi.
