Simitis: Turkey-Greece war would last 2 hours

Why would Turkey attack Greece? No one would gain anything from that, and it would leave a lot of innocent people dead. Maybe a wet dream for a couple of young nationalist hot heads. I'm sure that older and more mature Turks will explain why it is a self destructive way to go.
Although Turkey is a NATO member, I am convinced that if Turkish troops put their foot on the Greek mainland with offensive Intentions. Then the whole of the old Europe will support Greece both political and especially military.
One thing to argue about an island or two, but an attack on the European mainland will mean war! And the large group of Europeans with Turkish ancestors would also suddenly be in a very unfortunate situation..
I'm glad it is only empty threats and chest tapping and so should you.

Casus belli by Turkey has been for a long time the possibility of Greece extending the airspace to 12 ( i repeat ..12) nautical miles.

Greece has an airspace of 10 miles for many decades. And it is respected by US forces too.

So, you really think that USA would agree to send his airplane carrier ship 7 nautical miles close to Greek mainland but would be willing to request permission from Greece to use his airplanes?? I don't think so. This is the real case why a country's airspace limit has to be equal to territorial sea limits just like it was stated in 1944 Chicago Convetion, 1958 Genova High Seas Conventionand 1948 ICAO decisions. You can not declare your air space limit is 10 nautical miles while your territorial sea limit is 6 nautical miles because it is against international law.

Neither USA nor USSR agreed Greece's any extention to its territorial sea limit further than 6 nautical miles because they didn't want to request permission from Greece to pass Aegean Sea if necessary. And because a country's airspace limit has to be equal to territorial sea limit by international law, stated above, Greece's air space limit is 6 nautical miles. (I am also not sure Russia recognizes Greece's this air space limit/territorial sea limit as 10 nautical miles)

Could you provide me any source that claims that USA and Russia recognize Greece's air space limit as 10 nautical miles?

Why do you think that all the Turks who have a Chance to get to Europe an get a jop coming here as quick as possible. Europe is in no condition to dictate Turkey in any way. Getting into Europe is easy, considering Europe's dire need of workforce. Aging Europe needs Muslim manpower to support economy of Europe. Even Russia.

You are telling me in case of war, Europe will force Turks of Europe into isolation camps or what? Nevertheless, we are in 21 st century where the demographic, economic and military power shifts to the east.

Believe me, last thing Europe would want is a war against Turks. Since the whole Europe once tried to defeat Turks and failed, I wonder what will they do against combined Muslim world. Any aggression against Turkey, NATO falls. Europe doesn't have manpower to seek adventure overseas as we have seen in Iraq and Afghanistan.
