"Overflying Greek islands is not a greek provocation. Also although you may not like it, Greece has an airspace of 10 miles. The fact that Turkey does not recognise this space doesn't make Greece a provoker."
You are wrong. By international law, a country's airspace limit has to be equal to territorial sea limits. And it is 6 miles in Aegean Sea. Declaring it to as 10 miles by yourself would rightfully be a considered as a provocation and "Casus belli" by Turkey.
"In actual fact, when Russian, French and American carriers enter the Greek FIR do so with explicit respect to the 10 mile airspace."
Adding USA to this sentence is also wrong. Russians and Frenchs might recognize your airspace limit as 10 miles but USA absolutely does not. USA accepted Grece's territorial sea limit as 6 miles in his last apperance in Aegean Sea. And by international law, as I explained above, a country's airspace limit has to be equal to territorial sea limits. So, USA recognizes Greece's airspace limit as 6 miles just like Turkey does.
I repeat, declaring your airspace limit as 10 miles is against international law and would rightfully be a considered as a provocation and "Casus belli" by Turkey.
