Your statement generalizes both Christians and Muslims while sparing others. If I look around, I find all sorts of atrocities by various denominations being committed. Buddhists are killing Muslims, Muslims are killing bhudists, Hindus are killing Christians, Muslims, Muslims are killing Hindus, Christians are killing Muslims and Muslims are killing Christians. Sikhs killed Hindus and Hindus killed Sikhs...point being that at one point even within this very century, adherents of all religions have been involved in some sort of atrocities.
