I fail to see the point of this thread. Gabbar, could you leave some comment to give us some direction as to what exactly are we supposed to be discussing here?

Clearly, Indians will try to dispute the topic, while Pakistanis will try to prove it. Why are you then insisting that all this is off-topic?

Nobody is trying to dispute the topic.

However tea only tests better when you put a proper sugar in it. Sugar more than proper (although sweet) and your tea doesn't taste well.

Thats very absurd question,he was first Sikh in army thats why it got media attention otherwise you can find countless Christians in our forces.

While it is extremely unfortunate that Gulab Singh was forced to resign due to the misbehavior and discrimination by his colleagues (perhaps put out of envy at his popularity), it is also true that the respect and sentiment shown him by the average citizen, as mentioned in the BBC article, mirrors the sentiment towards Pakistani Sikhs mentioned in the article posted by the thread starter.

This thread was only suppose to be ordinary Pakistanies views toward Sikhs in Pakistan, perticulary in Lahore region. This thread is not about Operation Blue star or how Sikhs are tread in India.

I am very disappointed at our Indian Vs. Pakistani mentality.

This thread was never meant be that. If you have some personal experience related to this thread's title, feel free to drop some comments but we must stop this non-sense of India Vs. Pakistan. We have hundereds of threads just for that issue. ​

Ok. Since I am not from Pakistan I wouldn't have known it. However my reply came on the basis of what I read.

As you can see the daily times link both the possibilities are described there. Not sure if anyone know the actual truth.

Gabar many a times in this thread i had tried to put this into the heads of our Indian members that this thread is about PAKISTANI Sikhs/ love for Sikhs in Pakistan not about India vs Pakistani Sikhs.

Fair enough but it was merely a Pakistani citizen's personal opinion, not a statement by a responsible organization. We have other threads based on these issues. If you think you have to say something about these matters, we can refer or post link of those threads in this thread but no need to drag dead cat into everything.

It was our (individual) counter opinion against the opinion and not a statement by an organization which doesnt exist on the forum to begin with.

If we don't counter the false claims then those claims would have been accepted as truth.
