Sikh terrorist shouldn't be anyone's hero

giving some sort of autonomy to indian punjab and renaming it could be the first step towards confidence building...later on the people of indian punjab can decide if they really want to stay with india or not.:agree:

i hope ISI capitalizes on the current events taking place in occupied khalistan..:enjoy:

Don't ISI have better things to do like Taliban, Baluchistan and even Sindhi insurgencies under check

.
Pakistani Punjabis are fully supporting their Punjabi cousins across the border - we must do all we can, to get justice for them.

Which punjabis are you supporting? The ones who want to execute him, or the ones who don't want to execute him? Everyone involved are punjabis. Beant singh was also punjabi. So which punjabis are the pakistani punjabis supporting?

Or maybe you just wanted to express support, without knowing anything about the issue at hand?

No Punjabi wants to execute him, the highest religious authority of the Sikh nation, has declared him a living martyr, and has threatened excommunication to any Sikh that is complicit in his murder.

Who do you think pronounced the sentence? The punjab high court. Who do you think his victims were? Punjabis. Can you name any non punjabi who has any say in the execution?

There is no sikh nation in India, not in the traditional meaning of "nation". You ought to be more informed. And sikh doesnt equal punjabi. State or national identities are not based on religion, in india. So the highest sikh authority proclaiming him something doesnt equate to punjab proclaiming him that. And by the way 40 percent of punjab are hindus.

But my friend, is it not that the officials who would have carried out the hanging have refused to take part, it seems that their is a clear case, that the Sikh people who are the majority of the Punjab province - see this gentleman as a hero, and have threatened a campaign to halt his killing.

Listen, can you keep out of this please? Nobody is asking for autonomy here. And help from ISI or Pakistan is the last thing we want. I hope you have learnt your lessons from meddling on other country's affairs.

But you said you support punjabis. So my question stands, which punjabis?

Or let me rephrase it, to make your fallacy clearer. You support the punjabis across the border, AGAINST WHO? All parties concerned in this issue, on all sides, are punjabis. So who are you supporting them against?

Yes, there are many people who dont want to see him hanged. And pakistanis seem to want to jump in and take sides. Trouble is, there are no real sides to take, except the side of those who want to execute him, or those who dont want to. It is not a question of india versus punjab, which is what many people with superficial understanding abilities are thinking of. (see post number 20).

I understand your eagerness to take sides against india, but you are tilting at windmills here, because this has nothing to do with india versus one of its own states. It usually never has anything to do with that, except in our neighbours' imaginations.

In future, don't offer support when you dont know anything about the issue or who you are supporting against who, because then your offer of support sounds very hollow. People may get the idea (oh no!) that your offers of support are nothing more than uninformed lip service.

Are you sure you know what cry means? I don't know what in my post sounded like crying. If you cant follow a discussion thats going on, its best to stay out of it, rather than come up with these one-liners that expose your stupidity to the world. Seriously, there is no shame in staying quiet.

I'm still waiting for a reply to my earlier query to you.

Is there a difference between terrorists and those seeking justice for the shameful 1984 riots or not?

. . .
The killer, the person he killed, the people the killed person killed, the judge who pronounced the sentence, were all from punjab. This is not an india versus punjab issue. Everyone involved are punjabis.

ISI is currently busy killing anyone who questions it in occupied west india.

I love this drama, it never fails to amuse me each time - whenever there is any issue in India, pakistanis immediately think that state is going to secede. In reality, we have pretty much the same states we have had since independence, apart from splitting of big states into smaller ones.

Anyway try to understand this - any problem that happens in India is not about India occupying that state or oppressing that state. Most often, as in this case, all the problems are between the people in that state.

Actually no, we have added Goa and Sikkim since independence ;)
