wrong. the Gujarat gov't at the time had no role in the riots the only thing they can be blamed for is inaction and slow response to the riots the Sikh riots were backed by the Congress gov't of that time what about the Ahmadiyyas? since Zia ul haq the Shia's and Ahmadiyyas have been mistreated by the majority Sunni population

In Godhra 100 Hindus were burn alive and in retaliation few angry people started riot. 1,000 people died including many Hindus too. In Gujarat, Total Muslims are 10% means 6 Million. If it was government sponsored why only few hundred died and not few million ? In last 10 years, Not a small riot happened.

Godhra-Gujarat is 10 year old story. How many times you will repeat it ? already Zillion time repeated. In Pakistan, Everyday Minorities dying for last 64 years. So don't compare once in few decade story with daily activity.

I have always tried my best to reform my society instead of lecturing others shamelessly. Something which my eastern neighbors severely lack.

Lmao that's like saying since in Gujrat, Sikhs weren't massacred it's ok. This article is weak because it's one Sikh Pakistani who made a complaint, and many Sikhs are happy in Pakistan. We have tons of criminals in both India and Pakistan, now if you want to distort the facts and tie it in with religious labels, that's up to you. My nani umma was from Jalandar, my family has nothing against Sikhs. I can say it's safe to say most Pakistanis don't have anything against Sikhs either.

We can always try to improve our situation, and our minorities are still Pakistani. It's just that if you understand the politics of Pakistan, not even Sunni Muslims which are the majority are getting a break from our government. I think it's wrong to say that one group is attacked more than the other, when we are all suffering together.
