Signs of Improvement in Frosty Northeast Asian Relations?

LoL, o my , I do believe you're becoming a funny guy.

On a serious note, can you name 5 policies enacted by the KMT that you find disagreeable ?

Fascism growing in Taiwan? As opposed to a one party authoritarian?

I think the green Taiwan is also a one party authoritarian. They deify some politicians. If you are looking at the voting of majors in Taiwan, the policies gives place to the individual appearance. One third of Kaohsiung is exploded by gas leakage, but the major still have high approval rate. That is unbelievable.

I think people who are promoting friendship between China and Japan are idiot and dreamer.

Japan should stay with US and the West!

I'm the only sane, reasonable and realistic in this forum.

Dearest Taihokujin,

The Japanese and American Alliance is unquestionable as it remains ever resilient.

This should not be a pretext for souring of relations with China, however. It's best to be pragmatic and to develop sound political, social and economic cooperation. By doing so we improve relations and maintain the status quo.

As for Taiwan, I think that it would be fortuitous for Taiwan to see amicable relations between Japan and China.

Speaking as one East Asian to another, the concept of honoring leaders isn't alien to either of our respective homelands. Taiwan, as an East Asian society, too maintains this capacity.

Have you been to Taiwan? I've been there many times before, it's a very traditional society. Confucian and Daoism culture is alive in that country...

Gas leakage and gutter oil are not the problems. The public damage have been controlled.

Taiwan people don't have any problem eating gutter oil, unlike the barbaric mainlander.

It's the KMT who is the bad guy, for make it like an unacceptable problem.

KMT politicians are bunch of crazy undemocratic of people!

Btw, I personally support the DPP. Just that we have to be pragmatic until the right time.

Right now, DPP still does not control the country not does it command the electorates.

If and when Taiwan's DPP receives the mandate, then policies regarding Taiwan should be reconsidered.

That Taiwan was gone, in this year. Now they are trying some new “staff“. Those new "staffs” are very interesting, I am observing these new "staffs" both in Japan and Taiwan. Japan also changed in the passing 2 years. I think there will be a conclusion in 2016 or 2017. The first conclusion of Taiwan may come within about 350 days. There is a timer above Taiwan, whether they solve the relationship problem in 350 days is very important and it is an examination to their society system. Until today I have not seen any trial. The sunflower movement changes Taiwan too much.

Without the politics, Taiwan society is good.

The 2012 election of Madam Tsai Ing-Wen showed she received 45% of votes. This is an increase compared to the last opposition Mr. Frank Hsieh who ran in 2008 and received a vote of 41%.

By 2016, my prediction is that the next DPP candidate will win. KMT will be defeated.

She should resign. There is no major still incumbent, when his/her city is bombed like that in the peace time.

The green cities made this gutter oil problem, and the blue government is responsible. I am very tied about hearing this bullshit. Just because they are DPP? This logic I cannot understand. When the DPP is very happy to count the 18 resigned minsters in 18 months, they should also think about their duty.

Tsai Ing-Wen really defeated the KMT in 2 years. The points what she said in the debate 2012 have been realized by DPP, but all of them are tragedies. If I have seen they played a positive rolls in the passed years, I will pro DPP, but unfortunately, they have made too many tragedies, too many crisis, and too many de-developes. Obviously they have set a very high moral standard to the ruling party, but theirselves never keep them. Yes they are pragmatic, but to the volting, not the society. Because the bad result of ruling, the KMT should be defeated by some one, but DPP? They are nothing better.

DPP is the democracy!

I don't know why so many people in PDF hard to understand the very simple thing.

Are you people dumb?

Once DPP rule the country, he will establish democracy and abolish KMT forever.

Japanese research and technology do not benefit Chinese science in any way whatsoever. Indeed, all they do is suppress the market for advanced Chinese products.
japanese tech, funny as hell. Nips still living in the 80s. China already surpssed them in tech.

Taiwan invested heavily in IT hardware sector. While Japan still prefer to stick with consumer electronic.

Japan lost in the consumer electronic battle to South Korea. Young Japanese of today are lazier than young Korean.

Japan and Korea are fighting for the prestige and top position, while Taiwan stay humble and follow the money.
