Sidhu should join Imran Khan's cabinet: BJP

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra Sunday took a dig at Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu, saying he should get himself inducted in Pakistan's Cabinet as he repeatedly exudes his love for the country.

Quoting media reports according to which Sidhu at a festival in Kasauli recently said he can relate to Pakistan more than South India, Patra said this is the "conspiracy" of the Congress government to divide the nation of the lines of north and south parts of the country.

"The kind of love he (Sidhu) exudes for Pakistan, the only advice which we can give is Sidhu please proceed to become a part of Imran Khan's cabinet," Patra told reporters.

"Repeatedly engaging with Pakistan shows a conspiracy. It depicts his mentality to divide north and south India and that is a strategy being followed by the whole of Congress," he added.

BJP had no future in punjab and Siddhu fancied himself a CM Material. His father was a CONgress MLA and the Attorney general of punjab so he probably wants to do one better.

He also ended up making enemies of the Badals and they do not forgive or forget.

So he jumped ships for better opportunities and if that meant drinking pappu mutra, he would grin and drink it.

After than sucking up to Imran and Bajwa was natural devolution of things.

His foot in mouth will certainly keep him in the news and in politics that is a great thing. So I think he is going to ride this wave till he gets what he wants, though I hope he gets what he deserve.

I will resign myself to a Hindu India.

And make sure that my kids look at emigration very seriously, though their mother is the sentimental type.

I will personally look towards retiring early, and moving to Iran. Or independent Kurdistan which might happen sooner than we think.

I'm a Parsi. We refused to adopt an alien culture and live as second class citizens on our own ancestral land.
