Give us a break dear see his Model Town house built during Musharafs era in 16 kanals worth billions. Let alone the industries he managed when his elders were in EXILE. I have noticed most of the people here have half baked knowledge/info.

Need to look at the source of the wealth gain and background of the accused.

If a industrialist has gain in wealth since not a office holder couldnt take bribes or kickbacks. Un reported income source can be only from business transactions, or via fraud. If fraud then its a criminal case other wise just a case of not paying tax. They can pay a fine on those un reported transactions and be let off or face jail time if not paying the fine.

If someone who has been or their family has been in power or office holder for several decades and it is suddenly discovered they have had massive gains in wealth or there is un reported income. As per law they have to prove legitimate source and if failed to prove it will automatically be assumed the source to be corruption. This was the problem with Mr Nawaz Sharif, he couldnt prove in court the source of his assets and to top it off he submitted fabricated documents along with changes in statement for which his daughter and son in law got sentences. Since he was a office holder as per NAB law the source is by default declared via corruption and there is jail time. This law is being introduced in UK as well. My own opinion was had they just owned up to their assets and apologize to the nation rather than go on offensive things would have been alot different.

The way Hamza Shahbaz handling this I'm afraid Sharif family still hasn't learned from his mistakes. Will lose political standing but better to apologize and sort out a fine rather than get messy.

Unfortunately Mr Nawaz tried that and failed badly. Qatari khat and calibri fiasco. Fabricated documents have made that route difficult.

Secondly there is a big gap from the sale of Ittefaq foundary and then suddenly he gets a recent wealth boom.
