I thing you are wrong. USA are far away from "potential war zones". Their is no land connection to them. NATO is protecting western interests first.

you are getting so funny , isnt it most of western countries, russia's putin screaming " make 3 kids" , while targeting islamic countries , please take a look on non islamic ones, yes breeding , human power is what most countries concerning now for their "future" .

And about nuclear power, it doesnt seem necessary IMO , in the time nuclear bombs are used , i dont think there will be somewhere to live on earth except of some remote islands. its not WWII now, once someone launches nuclear, as response others do it as well as much as they could without seeking for critic targets
