While reading the news of child abuse by church i was thinking that we should also ask Pakistani mullas for apology for child abuse since long time... though it doesn't appear in media but it happens and it happens in not all but considerable number of madarsas in Pakistan where teachers sexually abuse young children belong to poor families who stay and study at madrasas .... i am curious to know if any member of this forum can recall such incident happend to them or their friend in childhood?

Note: Please do not relate this thread to religion ... personnel actions of a human have nothing to do with religion.

Hmmm..........I knew CSA was rampant in Pakistan like India as well.
Never knew such things happened at Madrassas

Maybe sahil.org can help here too.

I greatly admire their efforts.

And why should mullahs be forgiven...
the case of 2 boys murdered openly in Sailkot is not even solved who is going to bring these mullahs to courts and take them to prison. Such men are in all fields teachers, doctors, mullahs, politicians and so on..

Their appology serves nothing..we want them castrated and neutered for a good saftey measure. No ding dong no abuse!

if the above is true, then people have a responsibility to expose this. unless you don't bring them to the limelight, these things will continue. yes!! make them say 'sorry' & keep an vigil on them.

I know of a Mullah here in Peshawar has was involved in multiple Child abuses and he's still roaming free... sick to the stomach.

Why forgiveness before punishment?

The punishment of r_pe in Islam is death. Child abuse also falls under the same. There cant be any forgiveness because it is a sin which shall not go unpunished neither in the world nor the afterlife.

Well that "Sin" part is for God to act upon, the Child abuse part is a "Crime" and men can act on that part and we should act harshly so as to send a message to any who imagine that such crimes as gratification.

Take a U turn--Study Islamic history--Sharia Law--The laws recommended at that time by Prophet Muhammad (PIUH) and the laws for the long run---How did the message change?--How did culture influence religion?--The social norms of the society before Islam came in--

Isn't it quite absurd when we say that Islam spread like a wild fire considering the death penalties? I mean, honour killing etc were part of the Arabian society and Islam actually condemn's those horrendous acts--So, how could Islam spread when the laws were the same i.e. honour killing, death penalties etc
How can you 'market' an old idea?

Do not blame Islam of our own mistakes--Islam changed and so did the message--Now, I am not trying to prove that Islam is THE BEST because I am a Muslim rather I am stating facts out of my hat.
