Guys need your opinion that should Pakistan accquire the one shot carrier kill Chinese made missile, give me your opinion and reasons for your opinion

Not necessary in such economically dire situations...yes a decent amount of anti-ship cruise missiles will suffice our needs

We have sufficient missiles to kill carrier from air to sea, sea to sea , surface to sea.

I do not think Pakistan needs that.. as I am still speculative on the chinese anti-ship blastic missile labled as the 'carrier killer' for may reasons especially the technical part. even PLA has the ability to deploy that effecitively it needs a very sophisticated and expensive C4IS systems to have that operational...so its not that simple that Pakistan can have it just by buying the missiles from China, but the whole systems (radars, satellite sensors, maintances, guiding kits etc`````)

and Pakistan Navy's primary threat is from india, the current gadgets in your inventory is enough to deal with the indian navy at the moment.

one of the reasons for PLA to have anti-ship blastic missile were the USA aircraft carrier battle groups' effectiveness in dealing with air threat and cruise missiles. but in india's case, the destroyers they have are hardly capable of defending itself let alone providing a defence sheild to protect the battle group.

c-802, c-803s are enough for Pakistan to put india's carrier to the bottom of the sea

but now they are making an aircraft carrier with russia
still you think we dont need the carrier kill missile

Pakistan needs ...help ..serious help ...first .....then any arms.... halaat bure ho gaye hai ....aur tum log carrier killer ki baate kar rahe hoo

NO ASBM. However some supersonic AScMs like the YJ 12, and their platform JH 7 would be useful.

In theory yes. Why not? Sooner or later they will arrive in south asia.

carrier kill?
I dont know of any specialist carrier kill missile in existence but then i am no expert in the subject..
Carriers have armor plating and many many boyance chambers..If one part is breached and water comes in..the ship still remains afloat. In addition they have invested in the most sophisticated missile defence systems...after all they have to defend thousands of onboard crew and the most expensive military hardware..
Best thing would be a swarm of missiles fired at the carrier....so that the missile defence system gets overwhelmed and the ship is breached from more than one location..

Agreed

 you really think so? Barring a nuclear threat, there's nothing that is there in the PN inventory to "deal" with us. Just because we have a runaway media printing stupid stuff all over like exact number of missiles (as if any country releases that) doesn't mean things are that simple. I think you need to consult a real life military serviceman for what is and what is not.

Really? You know our destroyers in and out don't you? Please talk sensibly when you are trying to even compare an enemy's weapon systems. You're talking about dealing with US as if their carriers are right now docked outside your house, ready to fire. Your progress is remarkable but most of it is the 'mysterious weapon' logic that adds the spooky air to the whole scenario. Similar to what the Soviet MiG-25's news did in the West when it was reported as a lethal dogfighter against F-25, but turned out to be meant for something else altogether.

c-802, c-803s are enough for Pakistan to put india's carrier to the bottom of the sea

That's applicable even for BrahMos to sink PN or PLAN warships down to bottom of Indian Ocean. Because technically, that's what missiles are designed to do; seek out and destroy their targets. :coffee:

Certainly.. the kill probability of C-802 is ~98% and that is one heck of killing ratio.

Also Aircraft Carriers are not a prime threat to Pakistan. How is an aircraft carrier "more of a" threat than Indian border touching ours for 1200 KMs. So we have one giant 1200KM long aircraft carrier already touching our borders all the time.. Anything which an aircraft carrier can do, can well and more effectively be done from the land. So in my opinion aircraft carriers are not main threat to Pakistan. In sea they can come handy but not to forget we have only a small coastline and only one direction to defend. With Subs, good anti-ship missiles and naval attack aircraft, we can nail it down.

Have you not heard of the Granit missiles ?
P-700 Granit - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

They are launched in a salvo and form a network.... The lead missile assigns targets to other missiles. The target is usually a Naval Task Force

For you conspiracy theory buffs ..... It is said that the Russian Kusrk was carrying these missiles when it sank. These missiles were stolen and used to attack the pentagon.

I think Babur and Ra'ad can do this job for us, hopefully we will hear about this new development soon.
