Should pakistan kick out the foreign media ?

Is anyone else tired of the international community interfering in pakistan's internal affairs ? I feel western media is abusing pakistan's hospitality by publishing only sensationalist and propoganda articles besides they often discourage people from visting there and go on about how dangerous it is so maybe also for their own sake they should stay out .I would like for pakistanis to start showing only what we want them to see for our own interest.

I think we should start by clamping down on our own media outlets first...refuse to renew licenses for those news outlets, tv. and print, that refuse to support Pakistans Campaign against Islamist Militants.

I dont understand what you mean by "interfering in pakistan's internal affairs", do you mean to say Pakistan isnt having a hard time with militants at the moment? Do you think i should visit Pakistan and go to some of the tribal areas? Maybe i could go and have a beer with Muslim Khan, perhaps he could give me some advice on how to more tolerant towards people.

Media is just a channel - which works as a - connection between - power and people.
Its voice of people - Avery strong and powerful media will only be good for pakistan,
Although some rational does happen, but a from a few rationale news - dont make - Whole media generic . Media might do 1-2% - influence to people and their thought process.
But who got the remote of televsion ?????
And rest 98% is - power of people.
The % level of corruption or rational judgment is much less than - anyother system- be it poltiics , Army , officals , infrastructure office etc.

This is indeed crazy thought. International opinion is based on perceptions and any such talk of banning media will only create a negative image for your country. Look what is happening with China, everytime a You Tube is blocked, you can observe the negative reactions all over.

What is needed is a savvy handling of the media to push your case across. Look how even OBL uses foreign media. He is an expert on using the media for his own use.

A parallel can be drawn with the way the NDA govt. in India went after Tehelka, they totaly alienated the English Language Media and they are still paying for this lapse in terms of negative publicity.

not pakistani media only foreign media alot of them only do fearmongering maybe it's better they're kept out for security reasons.Then it should be upto only pak media to show more balanced coverage of pak.
