It must be the actual reason More than 12 countries are actively operating and continuously ordering more from Otokar ? The standarts of each vehicles are known by all costumers and Countries should operate them in accordance with their protection requirements. If you put Cobra or Iveco any other light armoured vehicles against a BMP IFV in battlefield, The results will be more or less like that. If costumer wants more protection, Cobra-2, Kaya-2, Kale stands to meet the protection requirements but It is a wellknown fact that Cobra is a revolutionary light armoured vehicles which has a superior mobility, manouvrability compared with anything Ruski has. Who know the reason why do they buy it? Cheap price? Maybe it's good for police operations in ghettos, but it won't survive anything bigger than 7.62x39.

Police or Army. The reason is not the matter in here. Costumer just describes the requirement and Engineers provide the best solution. If provided technologies are trusted enough, You reach more deals. If It wasn't good enough, Anybody would never order anything. It is same for Cobra. Standart Cobra's protection is clear for everybody but Slovenia requested more protection than originals and They received what they requested...

BTW, It is known that Georgian Cobra was hitted by a BMP, not sniper. Georgians send Cobra vehicles at front lines and used them as an IFV and met Russian troops. 307 was hitted by more than 40 bullets but BMP cannon penetrated it behind.
