Should glorification of fanatics be allowed on PDF?

I have a serious question.

Ok, Indians are leaning towards extremism and mostly electing fanatics as their top leaders. But should we give these extremists any space to glorify those fanatics?

I mean look at the threads about Yogi Agitbadit (whatever his name) and how these extremist fanboys are justifying his hate speeches and celebrating his success and presenting him as some sort of hero here.

This should never be tolerated on Pakistan Defence Forum and threads about such fanatics (the hindu counterparts of Taliban) which glorify them should be deleted.

I request to act on this serious issue!

This is the problem with people with closed mentality. First of all you joined this forum by your own without any invitation. Then rather than open for discussing anything related to defense which is the main purpose of this forum you post everything to mock others. Then you open a thread asking everyone to not discuss everything but only those things which suits you or comforts you.

This man whom you are talking about is the CM of the biggest state of India. He is elected by the party which has got the biggest numbers of seats in recent history...So by name calling him you are mocking the wisdom of these people.
Secondly. India has been successful democracy since 1947. We have our highs and lows. We are not claiming to be perfect (Even nature is not perfect, which is its beauty) but we don't have military throwing away the democratic elected government when ever they want. We know if the party who is elected is not working for the good, then how to remove it.
Thirdly, What is the proof he is fanatics. Lots of candidates talk about bringing moon to the earth, but that does not mean anything. Once he is on chair, he has to abide by the constitution.
Fourth, He is not even closer to the UN declared terrorists who is roaming freely in your country and who is glorified and talked about in this forum trillionth of times. First stop posts about him.

Don't glorify the fanatic here. There are already enough threads about him.

We do need a certain control on PDF so that fanatic Hindu counterparts of Taliban are not celebrated and glorified here.

Does not matter whether you have elected him the CM of biggest state or PM of India, just like Hafiz Saeed is not glorified here, this fanatic should also be kept in check on PDF.

This is a complicated issue. On the one hand freedom of speech should not be curtailed, people should be free to glorify whoever they want. We can always argue the converse and that is how discussion and opinions are formed. By denying the right to glorify even a werewolf if someone chooses to, we lose the ability to progress through constructive criticism and sharing of information. On the other hand it is quite tasteless to allow the defense of someone like Modi, who is a mass murderer, or his minion that filthy Yogi. But unless we had free speech how would we know what these lunatics are like? If a person wants to glorify Hitler or Taimur Lung, it is their right. People will be offended but that's life, right? I would like to see what other people have to say about this.

Agreed with you. Glorifying "things" like that bald monkey should be the last thing this forum needs.

Indians can do whatever they want to in their shithole. It doesn't mean we should start justifying and glorifying it on this forum.

I am quite sure there are several fan boys of Talibans here as well. But almost always their wrong actions are condemned. You won't see the same thing happening for Indian hindu fanatics. (May be couple of odd Indians distance themselves but they are flocked and humiliated by those extremist fanboys).

You do have a point but I'm not too sure. This is one of those things that can go either way. Can I glorify Hitler or one of the other marauders who sacked India on numerous occasions? Is that a fair trade?
