Should Ehsanullah face trial yay or nay?

Most people within the army circles knows this .. The surrender news is fed to bring the morale of the terrorist group down and to limit their recruitment .

And TTP itself accepted he was apprehended along with his 3 other friends from Paktika province in Afghanistan and was subsequently turned over to the Pakistani army.

It does make relatively more sense than Ehsan surrendering. Without proof, though, it won't float on official lines.......

My only issue is, what made him suddenly change his mind? I don't buy his explanations that he had a change of heart, and "saw the truth" about the ttp and JuA. He was with them for over a decade, in a senior position, and he just suddenly decided to leave? I don't buy it.

We may never know what were the real reasons which led to Ehsanullah Ehsan's surrender OR the actual terms of his surrender. BUT one think is quite clear that TTP was hunted down like rats during Zarb-e-Azb Op and pushed into Afghanistan. Afghanistan is a very hostile territory both environmentally & operationally.

As of now, Afghanistan is being coverly run by CIA and RAW and without their tacit approval, none can do anything unlike Pakistan where weather is NOT as hostile & there was, somewhat, a small degree of operational freedom.

Moreover, after Pakistan's shelling of TTP & JuA bases in Afghanistan, the terrorists' morale is all time low & continual exposition of RAW funding is proving to them that they are just the guns for hire. So, IMHO, the terrorists have left with limited options to survive.

Maybe Ehsanullah Ehsan's surrender was accepted to make an air-tight case against Jadav. whatever may truth be, but one this is clear that the Ehsanullah Ehsan's confession poured cold water on Indian randi rona & now Indians are trying back channel diplomacy by sending Indian Sajjan Jindal to Nawaz Sharif. Indians know that Ehsanullah Ehsan's must have confirmed the Indian terrorism funding & export to Pakistan beyond any reasonable doubt

I'm not sold by the interview. I think he's lying to the Army about most of the things. His stuff about ".....we mislead the youth". As if any terrorist leadership ever thinks that they mislead anyone; they think that they're correct when they teach their shitty toxic ideology.

Agreed ! but we should not care about explaining our matters to everyone.just do what is best in our national intrest.Enough with the Media Circus.
