Should Ehsanullah face trial yay or nay?

First, i want to clarify that i have NO sympathy for TTP or any other terrorist group operating against Pakistan

However,

My question is to all those who are advocating the trial & conviction of Ehsanullah Ehsan:


Q: Why Ehsanullah Ehsan should be put on trial when the state of Pakistan is issuing pardons to BLA/BRA commanders and fighers in Baluchistan who surrender to the state?

Q: Wouldn't it be called hypocrisy when BLA/BRA terrorists are being pardoned if surrender BUT a trail is being demanded for TTP surrendering members??

My only issue is, what made him suddenly change his mind? I don't buy his explanations that he had a change of heart, and "saw the truth" about the ttp and JuA. He was with them for over a decade, in a senior position, and he just suddenly decided to leave? I don't buy it.

He hasn't, but he was responsible for developing the highly toxic screwed up ideology that promptes others to commit crimes against humanity. With Ehsan you're not executing just one guy. You're taking down a propaganda/recruitment machine.

I'm not sold by the interview. I think he's lying to the Army about most of the things. His stuff about ".....we mislead the youth". As if any terrorist leadership ever thinks that they mislead anyone; they think that they're correct when they teach their shitty toxic ideology.

Most people within the army circles knows this .. The surrender news is fed to bring the morale of the terrorist group down and to limit their recruitment .

And TTP itself accepted he was apprehended along with his 3 other friends from Paktika province in Afghanistan and was subsequently turned over to the Pakistani army.
