not presently. but the way sharifs are going and now PPP also given up talking, things may reach a level of limited civil war due to voilent confrontation between PML(N) and PPP and dont forget Mr Khurd and team. That may lead to yet another military take over.

I think it'll be a good idea because that is the only way to achieve good stability cause there is one thing that we've all learnt from the past 61 years is that 'Democracy' doesn't work well in pakistan.

Metalfalcon, brother, i agree with ur view that army should not intervene, already PAK Army's image has been ruined at the hands of Musharraf in the eyes of 99.99% Pakistani's.

with all these politicians around, clearly for me it is thick fog all on the road to the future (i suppose this is the case with many others) I hope yaar some miracle happens which in my view is people of our Nation wake up and decide what is best for them and for Pakistan, and hope they donot elect the same old politicians that they have been doing since the past 60 years, IT IS TIME FOR POSITIVE CHANGE

In next elections PPP will win even more seats.
Why do we forget that Zardari forced Sharif to contest elections. This way Zardari managed to divide anti PPP vote in two halves and if elections ever held where all parties may take part independently PPP will be a sure sute winner.
Don't forget that in last elections Sharif party cheated the alliance of APDMA whose agenda was bycott of elections.
Only solutions is all parties get together agaist PPP but on the first place Zardari would never allow any such alliance and number two if this happens than we will witness same story as of today with a difference Zardari being repalced by imran Khan.
I can tell you PPP is focusing more on creating forward blocks rather than serious talks with respective party leadership.
In this senario forward blocks will vote for PPP and will get disqulified by courts upon request of Sharif and associates.
This will allow PPP to hold by elections on as many as 50-60 seats which PPP will clean sweep and this will also legitimize the courts.

The true solution of the problem is to let the system sort itself out all countries have gone through civil unrest even civil war but unless the system isn't allowed to run the voter would never understand what the vote is worth and our country would never progress.

At this point, anything this possible. The way I see it, We could either live in this superficial belief that this government deserves a "chance" to complete its term, OR we could look at this realistically. Right now, our current Government is a total failure. Our people have been lied to once again and it was quite obvious when this government wasn't able to deliver what it promised in the first three months.

Either we can keep drowning in this spiralling quagmire, or we could prevent a disaster by letting the Army intervene. Let's face it, Army is the ONLY institution in Pakistan that has been able to bring stability to our country whenever it's balancing on a cliff near a bottomless pit.

Our youth is too busy idealizing the western society and to a certain degree, that's exactly what our politicians are doing. Who's going to bring that revolution? The moronic lawyers? Or the "Jiyalay" from MQM? Democracy this, democracy that! Who made democracy the ONLY solution to our problems? If anything, Democracy has been a TOTAL failure in Pakistan. Musharraf provided more "Democracy" to this country than ANY of these mainstream political parties ever did. Combined!

well in that case we ll keep on suffering... army is not a long term solution for pakistan. army has only earned a bad name amongst pakistanis during musharraf era which is not gud for any country. there are ppl who vote for these politicians then how can any army dictator keep them out of the country. it is upto ppl to set things in rit order otherwise we will be a joke of this world

Army should interfere right away, but for the LAST time. It should ban all political parties and all tv channels speaking **** about country and armed forces should be bann'ed. A military court should be set up to sentence all the politicans/lawyers/useless corrupt citizens to death and they should be remove'd from this Pak Land.

For next 100years Pakistan should remain under the control of a consistent force, the army.
