Partition was a blessing in disguise. Otherwise there would have been civil war much later, and country divided into much more parts where Brits doing their job as catalyst. Think it this way, if India has so much religious tension with just 15% of Muslim population how you think we would have been ok with 30%? Partition did good to Hindus and Sikhs who migrated otherwise they would have suffered.

Partition help speed up the Hindu Renaissance but it also seeded up the islamic fundamentalism in pakistan. So instead of a civil war, we had 4 wars with pakistan and 1 war with China and numerous Riots in India.

Partition WAS a british idea and creation, they were not just simple catalysts.

But all in all, I am glad for partition. Most Indians are.

All temples established by Sri. Narayana Guru are not as per agama.

The murthy's are not consecrated by Prana Prathista pooja. No pooja is done in the temple as per agama.

They pooja is not even done in sanskrit, nor are the mantra's from the Agama. They are done by reciting the poems Sri. Narayana guru wrote in Malayalam. (though it was heavily Sanskritised malayalam)

That is why anybody can do the "pooja".


This is the equivalent of the illegal roadside temple in my neighborhood. There are millions of such "temple" in India. This does not make their faith any less, but such temples are demolished on a routine basis if they are not more than 100 years old.

Meditations is done to increase your spiritual energy so that the self evolves beyond primitive survival instincts and can ascend to a more higher level of consciousness that is no longer worried about primal natures of 'survival'.

Its a process of induced evolution, and the more time you spend in increasing your "spiritual energy" , the faster your evolve. How fast you evolve is decided by your will, dedication and determination.

I use the word "spiritual energy" loosely since there is no english equivalent to the word "shakti".

This guy is a major moron. Vande Mataram does not mean I bow to you mother. It means I exalt you mother(land). It is praising one's motherland. Not exactly worshiping it like you worship god.

Vande means to praise, to exalt and when used in religious context to pray. Vande Matram song is not a religious song. Here it simply means praise. I doubt it is disallowed to praise one's motherland in Quran or Islam in general.

Anyone into Sufism would answer that. Spiritual conscience is there in many different forms through every religion.

The definition of "spiritual consciousness" varies between various religions. Abrahamic religions defines it as degree of "submission" of the mind or consciousness to god or to gods "will".


In Dharmic religions, spiritual consciousness means awareness of something BEYOND the mind and consciousness. It means Super consciousness. The state of "Samadhi" means reaching a state where your consciousness merges with the consciousness of god. You see all , you know all, you understand everything.


This concept of "becoming" god is Blasphemy in islam.


Study of the influence of planets on the Human body is part of Hindu Astrology. Its debatable if the universe affect us or if the universe is just a giant cosmic clock which helps us watch our moods at different times.
