Shoe hurled at Nawaz Sharif at Lahore seminary

LAHORE: Two men on Sunday hurled their shoes at former prime minister Nawaz Sharif at Jamia Naeemia, Lahore.

According to Geo News, the attackers appeared to be students of the seminary.

The ousted prime minister left the venue after a brief speech.

Senior journalist Sohail Waraich who was present in the ceremony that was to be addressed by Sharif, said the two bearded man hurled shoes while chanting slogans "Labbaik, Labbaik"

The attack came a few hours after an ink attack on Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif at a convention of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz.

A man threw ink on Asif's face as he addressed the party workers. The attacker was thrashed and handed over to police by the PMLN workers.

The minister, however, pardoned the man saying he didn't know the attacker and has no enmity with him.

They had a plan to throw eggs and shoes on CJ and other judges cars as per my information, and they started testing this plan by sending someone near CJ's car two days back with Jang paper clipping.. and sending a woman in the hospital (again yesterday) who was saying bad words to CJ in a hospital.. now this has started with them... lolzz
