It isnt, nor is what we have now. We need a new form of social equality for all, communism isnt good for most nations, I think it could work well in a fair developed nation like the ones of Scandinavia, put it in a place like Pakistan though and it would just be the same result as what happened to the Soviets. Leader idolism, corruption, violence etc etc. You need something with a mixture of both to bring a country up to a standard where communism could truly work, communism failed because it was never used in a stable country where the laws of the land were fairly just, it was always used in lands where a few individuals could obtain 99% of the control and live opulent lifestyles whilst the people suffered.

I would like to see communism given a go in a few developed nations to see how it pans out but its a disaster to put it in any nation where there is a social and wealth difference that goes from people living in palaces down to people living in a shack with no access to water or welfare etc, it needs stability to succeed, a massive population can cover the gaps but eventually they will show. Its like how East Berlin was the most economically stable and wealthy of the Soviet union, because it was in a nation where they had a certain mindframe, but ultimately it was a shadow compared to the prosperity of west Berlin but compared to the rest of the USSR it was a powerhouse
