I realize that but it's been decades yet the Egyptian status quo (mainly the military) hasn't learned one bit from Nasser's mistakes when it comes to MB. They won't allow a political solution to come through. Same cycle of suppress them-they fight back and it goes on and on. It's still happening like this.

Ikhwan or Al sisi are not our business, i am sure you wouldn't like Egyptian supporting/justifying killing of Pakistani soldiers.

It's really the interior ministry repressing them, as well as the government. The military on other hand doesn't really get involved in these matters except in emergency situations. Egypt requires a military junta tbh, if the government/police become too powerful it can lead to more corruption so the military kind of keeps things in check. Egyptian soldiers are some of the most down to earth, fun and nicest people you will come across. I've had numerous interactions with them. I think the approach by the Sisi gov't towards thoughts/beliefs went over the top and definitely would advise them to a different approach. MB is a social movement in the sense that people hold or agree to some similar beliefs and that's what they have in common.

So you can't ban certain beliefs. And a crackdown could certainly cause some people to believe militancy is a solution but those are and hopefully will remain a tiny minority. So there should be toleration to moderate MB and really the media campaign should be directed at influencing people away from Daesh. But, Al-Arabiya likes to focus on Qatar/MB too much and they rarely attack Daesh ideology, usually they just blame MB for Daesh. In some ways they prefer Daesh to MB in other countries which is such a flawed conclusion to come upon.

Of-course , Qatar and Turkey are offering massive support for these groups and the MB is facilitating their operations in Egypt through providing man power and intelligence to execute their attacks .

Remember these groups came out of Libya after the Fall of Gadaffi regime who weapon stockpiles were used to arm the terrorists and rebels in Syria especially Al-Nusra and Isil . Anyway terrorism will not stop in the middle east until Qatar becomes bankrupt or the regime falls there which will not happen any time soon.

The only solution is for countries to counter terrorism and attempt to control these insurgencies and keep them at low conflict level and prevent terrorists from controlling any strategic cities , towns or villages .
