Perhaps you should have read the first reply!

Tippu Sultan is part of Pakistan history.

Coming off with ignorant comments (or perhaps flame baits) and saying "oh my god! its glad to know that Tippu Sultan stories are being taught in Pakistan schools! oh wow! Tip Sultan the INDIAN WARRIOR!"

******* ridiculous!

I hope your reply is to my post.

What your comments are come no where to what I have written!

In so far as whether he is taught in Pakistan or not, it is not what I have commented on.

But, since you have alluded to it, does Moslem history become Pakistani history notwithstanding the geographical incongruity?

The claim to Pakistani history so far in this forum has been on claims being made because of geographical affinity!

I am guilty of quoting you all the time. It seems your lost.

My apologies, but the context of my post was based on one of the indian dude's post (#2).

Then the reaction by Champ, which you have quoted.

First of all Tipu Sultan was Indian Hero (At that time there was no Pakistan). Indian history has given many Muslim heroes. Please do not inflame the topic making it Hindu and Muslim agenda.

And do remember India does not bother if Pakistan teaches the lesson of pre-independence heroes or not. Its Pakistan's call to make aware her generations about great heroes produced in the pre-independence land of India, irrespective of Hindu or Muslim, take it Tipu, Gandhi, Maulana Azad, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, Ashfaqulla Khan, Akabar, Ashok, Chadragupta and many more.

Can you give me just ONE geniune source to prove your claim ?
The greek's are proud whey they come to know that Indian schools teach about Alexander. Its a good feeling, just dont understand what makes you think that it is a flame bait.

guys give it a friggin rest already! you have diverted off topic!

Tipu sultan was neither indian or pakistani since there was no indian republic or pakistan at that time. Tipu sultan fought and died for MYSORE, which was a country at that time. He had Hindus and muslim supporters, and he also had hindu and muslim enemies.

so as far as history is concerned he is MYSOREAN, not indian or pakistani. now please get back to the topic at hand.
