China always keeps its currency as low as possible for export reasons which make it more competitiveTrying to keep RMB up due to capital flight.
Another misleading vid
Then why put the dollar out in the market? You realise by buying back RMB the currency actually strengthens against the dollar. Your response doesn't make sense with the article. If dollar dumping was the aim, what are you buying with $21 billion? Gold? No, it's RMB.China always keeps its currency as low as possible for export reasons which make it more competitive
They are de coupling its pretty obvious. China sees US having demographic crisis with white minority population by 2040s and leftist/woke/liberal/hispanic-blacks taking over the country where US dollar will lose its worth. China wants to de couple from America and use that money on anything from investments in Africa to putting into R&D research. China believes US is turning into Brazil demographically and economically because hispanics-black majority + woke leftists with feminism degrees won't contribute much to the economy therefore China wants to pull the plug and invest that money where it can be of use since China doesn't owe America anythingThen why put the dollar out in the market? Actually, China is dumping because the US decided to initiate hostilities against China since the trade war and especially since the sanctions on Russia, China would be stupid to keep holding on to US debt. So like it usually does, China is doing a gradual dump of US treasuries so as not to seem alarming but their holdings have significantly declined since several years ago. China is also boosting the use of the Yuan in global trade and will probably continue dumping the dollar as it decouples. This will most likely contribute to increased inflation in the US in the future not that inflation isn't already horrible. They are de coupling its pretty obvious. I said de coupling multiple times and there are many reasons for that and China reduced its once massive US holdings because of various factors including the fact that US debt is 35trillion and growing and that US is becoming hispanic-bl;ack country (Like Brazil) that cares mostly about trannys and feminists with pink hair than anything else.Actually, China is dumping because the US decided to initiate hostilities against China since the trade war and especially since the sanctions on Russia, China would be stupid to keep holding on to US debt. You are way overstating the influence that demographic shifts are having on Chinese policy. IMO, they have very little influence on how China is orienting its current policies against the US. The primary influences on Chinese policy vis a vis the US are American attempts to contain China.I said de coupling multiple times and there are many reasons for that and China reduced its once massive US holdings because of various factors including the fact that US debt is 35trillion and growing and that US is becoming hispanic-brown country that cares mostly about trannys and feminists with pink hair than anything else.
