Now the movie was pretty bold. Infact very bold for a Pakistani movie. It tackled serious issues like homosexuality, gang rape, incest, child abuse, and female abuse.
It's dark and bold and really lives up to the hype. It makes you think and makes you shiver. I guess that was the point of Shoaib Mansoor to make you aware of this.

Good news is the movie is doing great business. We have a market for Pakistani movies but just need proper filmmakers and investors.

i think pkistanis have much more serious problems to deal with such as inflation, rising food prices and load shedding than isolated incidents of sexual abuse...and Gay pride..

It sounds very interesting! Can't wait till I have the chance to watch it.

There some other movies coming out like Gol Chakkar which are less serious. I think slowly Pakistan's film scene is emerging

^^
Yeah your right our movie scene is emerging.
Next up is Reema's movie Love Mein Gum. From the trailer looks like a romantic comedy. Its releasing in July. There a lot of other movies under production as well. We have the market for movies we just need good filmmakers and investors.

We should have a thread dedicated to upcoming Pakistani movies.

Released......? When will it release in INDIA..?
Acclaimed Pakistani director Shoaib Mansoor‘smuch-awaited social drama film Bol which was initially confirmed for 20 May release in India and the rest of the world, is likely to be delayed due to multiple releases in the coming weeks. The business, naturally, hit an all-time low due to multiple releases so the producers (Eros) are planning to re-schedule the release date of Bol.

“There’s talk that Eros is also planning to shift BOL to another date,” says Indian film trade analyst, Taran Adarsh.

Possibilities are that the Atif Aslam starer film will also be delayed here in Pakistan as Geo Filmshaven’t started promoting the film in full swing and only 17 days are left until 20th May. Geo is playing a poor part in promoting Bol because till now it should have started promoting it if they wanted it to release on 20th May. For instance, Khuda Kay Liye promos went on air before 2 months of its release, starting with the soundtrack. Whereas, Geo and TIPS (India) haven’t even started promoting the music of Bol. We hope Bol sees daylight soon!
