Shipyard at Gawadar approved

Pakistani senate yesterday has approved building of Shipyard at Gawader so bigger ships can be built for Navy and other purposes. After senate PM approval is needed which they would get it soon and than the construction work would start.

Sir lets suppose our budget increases massively and we decide to produce lot of Frigates. How many Frigates can be produced at Karachi shipyard at one time ?

We don't have enough merchant ships. We should utilize our potential to build trade and military vessels.

Pakistan needs much bigger Navy that what it currently has. Our current size is pretty much a joke our enemy is getting bigger and bigger by every passing year and we are stuck

I think like KPT and Port Qasim KS&EWs will also be on the list of privatization soon. This will allow the foreigners to build ships. Tell us who are the buyers?

Having another shipyard will definitely benefit the Navy/Shipbuilding industry.

Man behind guns matters. Pakistani sailors are professionals and Allah Kareem is with us. Technologically, Iqbal defined it better,

We are preparing our horses according to order to Allah Kareem. Rest is the help of Allah.

This is a fine development. Despite the underutilization of Karachi shipyard having two ship building industry would allow greater naval capability, streghtening our hold in our sea border while also allowing for two facilities to operate as naval base in case of naval warfare.

Our naval arm has a lot to be desired and this can help make up for it. This will also allow greater merchant ship productions boosting gawader.

as mentioned above by @fatman17 the KSEW is under utilized ?? are we going to use it for international purpose ??
