We don't compel them to join the Army, when there is a recruitment Gurkhas line up, I guess they want a job, or they want to fight and they like to keep their tradition, hence they join IA. Also, Gurkhas are recruited by British Army too, are they racist or do they think their army is not capable?
First of all they are volunteers. Secondly, it's like Germans who escaped persecution in Nazi Germany fighting against Hitler.
